Collection: MS Awareness Month

Multiple Sclerosis Awareness Month is an annual event held in March to raise awareness of Multiple Sclerosis (MS). The event focuses on educating the public about the causes, symptoms, and treatments of MS.

Dr. Terry Wahls, a professor of medicine at the University of Iowa and a leading advocate for lifestyle changes as a treatment for MS, recommends eating an ancestral diet that includes lots of vegetables, some fruit and nuts, healthy fat sources such as olive oil and coconut oil, some animal protein such as fish or chicken, and fermented foods. She also recommends supplementing with omega-3 fatty acids and vitamin D to support healthy nerve function. Additionally, she encourages exercise and stress reduction techniques such as yoga or meditation of Lifepro products using vibration plate therapy and red light therapy. For more information regarding how the use of Lifepro tools helps MS, please watch our Co-Founder, Joel Gottherer, and Dr. Wahls discuss the benefits of Vibration Therapy here and light therapy here.
