Lifepro, in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), is voluntarily recalling select BioRemedy Infrared Sauna Blankets due to a potential fire hazard.

Hazard: The blanket can overheat, posing a burn risk.

Scope of Recall

  • Products sold September 2022 – June 2025
  • Units with a grey remote faceplate
  • Model numbers: LP-BRMDYL-BLK, LP-BRMDYL-GRY, LP-BRMDYR-BLK, LP-BRMDYR-GRY, LP-BRMDYR-BLU, LP-BRMDYR-PNK, LP-BRMDYR-PRPL
  • Sizes: Regular (31" x 71") and Large (36" x 76")
  • Colors: Black, grey, pink, purple
  • Some units have serial numbers beginning with CVNH
  • Units with a grey remote faceplate

This recall does not affect the current version of Lifepro’s sauna blanket, which is sold under the name BioRemedy Plus and is paired with a black-faced remote control (see above). This product will be supplied to customers as a replacement for the recalled products.

Remedy:

  • Consumers should immediately stop using and unplug the recalled sauna blanket.
  • Disable the product by cutting the cord to the remote control.
  • File a claim for a free replacement.
  • Consumers will be asked to upload photos of the blanket (with your name and the submission date written on it), the remote control, a photo of the blanket with the remote control sitting on it, and the power cord to the remote control visibly cut (photos may be combined.)
  • Customers who purchased the products from Amazon will be asked to provide a copy of their invoice or order confirmation. If you do not have that, please contact us and we will work with you to process the recall.
  • Consumers should dispose of recalled products according to local regulations.

How to File Your Recall Claim:

To process your free replacement, please complete the claim form below and upload the following photos:

  1. A photo of the blanket with your name and the submission date written on it.
  2. A photo of the remote control (front view).
  3. A photo of the blanket with the remote control placed on it.
  4. A photo of the cut power cord to the remote control, clearly showing it has been cut.
  5. A copy of your proof of purchase.

(Multiple items may be combined in one photo as long as all details are clearly visible.)

The current BioRemedy Plus blanket is not recalled and is being offered as a replacement. The BioRemedy Plus has a remote control with a black faceplate.

How do I disable my product?

Unplug the unit and cut the cord to the remote.

What remedy will I receive?

A free replacement BioRemedy Plus Sauna Blanket (serial CVFN). If replacements are temporarily unavailable, you may be placed on a waitlist.

Do I need proof of purchase?

Amazon.com customers will be asked to provide copies of their invoice or order confirmation. (If a customer does not have that, they will be asked to contact Lifepro so that we can work with you to confirm their product is subject to this recall.)  Other customers will be asked to optionally provide an order confirmation number and/or a serial number to simplify our verification process.  

How long will it take?

Most replacements will be fulfilled within 4 weeks.
