Don't function smoothly; frustrating

"Dumbbells themselves seem secure while in use (i. e. in-hand). But when placing weights back into holder, dumbbells never go in smoothly. The remaining weights not selected to be connected to the dumbbell remaining in the holder don't "mesh" easily w/the dumbbell itself when placing dumbbell back. A lot of fidgeting is req’d to get dumbbells back in. This is VERY frustrating, especially when you are tired & don't want to hold the dumbbells any longer. I’ve often knocked the weights out of the holder & then have to individually place them back in. Also, moving the weight selector to another weight amount is rough. You need to pinch & pick up the spring-loaded plastic "slide" selector, slide it to the weight you want, then drop it back in. Very often the slide won't go all the way back in & you have to jiggle it to get it to drop. Doing this 4x every time u want to change weight gets annoying. Not an awful product but the adjustment mechanism is poorly built & can cause deep frustration!"
