"I like the machine but it needs more than just 3 pre programs. If you could actually build your own using the mode button without having to pause the machine and change it during the time it would be better. It's advertised that way but that's not how it works. I noticed in a lot of of the pictures, people are wearing athletic footwear. Doesn’t that decrease the amount of vibration entering your body? Would it be better to be barefoot?: While it can be true regarding footwear slightly absorbing the vibrations, many people choose to wear sneakers when using the unit at more intense levels or during dynamic workouts to keep them safe and secured while on the plate. If you are doing more stationary exercises, going barefoot is a wonderful way to feel the maximum intensity of the vibrations!
