New version of gun is better, carry case is worse
"Purchased an older version of this gun in 2022 and it just died after heavy daily use (household with multiple athletes) and we thought 4 years of use was great so we purchased another unit. The updated gun is nice, the controls and readout on the back are easier to understand. But for some reason the changed the carry case and it’s terrible. The spots for the attachments and gun are very shallow and slippery so they nothing stays put. Every time you zip up and set down the case they all fall out of their spots so every time you open the case back up all the attachments and the gun come tumbling out onto the floor. The chuck on the gun has been changed as well - the receptacle is larger now so you can’t use your old attachments from the previous version which is disappointing. So it’s like they took one step forward and two steps back. Gun works well but wish they wouldn’t have changed the case or chuck."
