Boosting Benefits - Combining Vibration Plates with Other Tech

If there was one device that did everything and worked for every type of person, then getting into shape or recovering from an injury would be easy. Unfortunately, every one of us is different. Different in our body type, level of health, our activity preference, and how we each heal and recover. Good news is as the old saying goes “Variety is the spice of life” and sometimes trying different things or combining multiple things can be of big benefit to you.

To us here at Lifepro and many of our members, whole body vibration plates are close to being the one tool that can do it all. In addition, using a vibration plate in complement with other tech has been a huge win for a variety of user applications, both at home and with our professional users and service providers. One of our favorite ways to get more results in less time is by combining the use of our vibration plates with other tools. A vibration plate can be like a catalyst, getting the body prepared and more receptive to whatever you plan to do next. Ideal as a warm up, prior to getting on that treadmill for some cardio or even as a  recovery tool for after your workout.

For example, increase strength and improve muscle tone faster by adding weights to your vibration plate workout. Handheld dumbbells are an easy addition to any of your standing positions to push yourself harder and attain those results quickly. By increasing your overall mass, your legs work harder and the combination of upper body movement while holding weights will get you that total body blast in no time!

Different equipment can also reduce swelling, joint pain and fatigue such as by combining a light vibration plate session with a pair of compression sleeves afterwards. Many of our members suffer from chronic conditions that can present a wide range of symptoms. Conditions like arthritis, lymphedema, diabetes, and even an excess of weight can make traditional activities a challenge - often resulting in us paying the price afterwards with swelling, aches, and fatigue. If you suffer with a clogged or compromised lymphatic or circulatory system -- whatever your condition -- the combination of low impact vibration plates and compression has been a game changer for many of our members.

Many practitioners use modern technologies to treat patients with known advantages of combining vibration therapy with things like physical therapy to sports training. There is a reason for this! It better prepares the body for whatever comes next -- and that doesn’t always mean a workout! Medical and fitness applications incorporating the use of vibration plates is growing. Simply applying any skill set to this low impact environment can bring more efficiency to your workplace and even potentially offer overall better outcomes for your clients! They infuse a new level of energy to your practice or gym space and inspire new ways to using your existing modalities.
